Yes, we use some of the highest quality of paints in the industry that are far more durable, providing a much higher color quality and sheen for longer, without having sand fall out, or color of the court or lines fade.
From court patch binder to paint, we use some of the highest quality products in the industry. The same paint as seen on TV in the major opens and tournaments.
The process for a standard resurface generally takes 3-5 days, per court, depending on weather and dry times of the paint.
We always do a minimum of 3 coats to provide the best quality courts. The first coat is to neutralize the previous colors as well as provide a durable base for the next two colored coats. The two colored coats provide for a better, longer lasting quality of color and sheen for your court(s).
We use some of the best paint in the industry, the same paint you see at professional Tournaments and opens. The paint is said to last from 4 -10 years depending on usage. A private court with less wear and tear will last longer, whereas, a public court with more play will be worn down quicker.
Yes. Cracks will always come back. How quickly cracks will return will be based on a few variables such as how big the crack was to begin with, the contour of the court, etc. The crack will return as a tiny hairline crack, when it does. We patch them with a specialized court patch binder made specifically for sport courts, however, once concrete has cracked, that is a structural issue that cannot be permanently fixed aside from a complete overlay of the court.
We see this on courts we do occasionally. This is not normal, it is the result of lower quality paint and products being used. With the quality of paint, products, and methods we use, this does not occur on the courts we surface.
We have 3 types of court surfaces available: standard, cushion, rebound cushion.
Cushioned courts are a premium surface as played on by the professionals and high end clubs. It is a cushioned material that is softer on the knees and joints of the body while maintaining the quality of play. We are one of a few premier installers of cushion courts in California.
An overlay is the building of a new court over and old court. If your court is a certain age or beyond repair, an overlay is recommended.
